Sinead O’Beirn graduated from NUI, Galway in 2003. She worked in University College Hospital Galway for several years within a wide range of specialities. She travelled abroad for further training in Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics in both Australia and New Zealand. She returned to Ireland in 2007 and completed a 4-year Specialist Training in General Practice. She has completed further training and diplomas in Child health (RCPI), Dermatology (University of Cardiff), Women’s Health (RCSI) and Medicine of the Elderly (UCD). She has a special interest also in rheumatology and particularly osteoporosis and is further qualified in this area.
She alongside Dr Egan runs a busy DXA service within the practice. She is passionate about preventative health care and in trying to ensure the best long-term holistic health goals for her patients.
